Spoofed emails are not new. It's all about another angle to trick a human being to open up a message that otherwise looks normal. Voicemail-to-email messages are no exception!
In this message it's clear that everything is wrong:
- From email address missing
- To email address wrong
- Crazy Subject Line
- Actual full .eml attachment not a .wav or .mp3 file
The point being is that an end user would simply see voicemail and click to open the message attachment.
Please educate your customers on this scenario.
